Ken Carson

     Ken Carson received a BA Degree from Marietta College in Ohio in 1972. Since then, he has been an art teacher in the Bourne, MA Public School System. He has studied with John Bruce, Sig Purwin, Beverly Edwards and Claude Croney. His oil paintings of Cape Cod have been exhibited at galleries throughout the Cape for 35 years. He is listed in "Who's Who Among American Teachers" 1998 and 2001. He served as Assistant Director to the Market Barn Gallery From 1985 to 1995 and as director from 1995 to 1998. He is a free lance illustrator. 

     His oil paintings have received numerous awards in regional exhibitions and are included in private collections across the United Staes. His work is in the permanent collections of the Duxbury Art Complex Museum, Falmouth Hospital, Cape Cod Hospital and Town of Bourne.
